Chivas Regal 18 YO 0.7L (40% Vol.)
In making Chivas Regal 18Y O, a blend of well-aged, full-of-character, flavoursome malt whiskies from over twenty different malts were used. Renowned distillers, the Chivas Brothers, use only well-aged grain whisky in order to avoid harsh tones on the palate and ensure that none of the blend is less than eighteen years old, having gained rich, smoky flavours and aromas through long cask aging. Its flavour is rich and exceptionally smooth, with chocolate orange, some citrus, and spice on the nose and a full, fruity, citrusy, and spicy palate, with sherry notes to finish.
Chivas Regal has always provided for the elite of the day, including royal clients such as Queen Victoria, in the 1950?s The Rat Pack ? a particular favourite of Frank Sinatra?s.
