Crown Royal Black - Big Boi Edition 0.75L (45% Vol.)
In January 2011, Antwan Patton aka Big Boi was named spokesperson for Crown Royal Black. Since then, the rap star and one-half of Grammy winning duo Outkast is heavily promoting the drink: "The Crown Life" a short film presented by Crown Royal gave an up close and personal peek inside the life of Big Boi during the Grammy Awards weekend 2011 with performances and recording sessions inside the rapper's "Stankonia" studio. Also, the whisky appeared in music videos like "Be Still" with Janelle Monae and "Shutterbug". On top of that, Big Boi and longtime friend, Robert Poller aka "Rob the Barber", who's also responsible for the artwork of Big Boi's solo album, designed a signature Crown Royal bag featuring Big Boi's personal signature. The rap star expressed his excitement about this collaboration: "Crown Royal is my drink of choice, and I?m proud to be the first to put my own spin on The Crown Life.

Crown Royal Black is a full-bodied, premium blended Canadian whisky which has been matured to perfection in charred oak barrels. It has a deeper oak background with dark, sweet, maple notes and a light vanilla flavour towards the finish. A bolder, darker and more robust whisky than Crown Royal Original, it is blended at 90 proof to impart more concentrated flavour, while retaining the signature smoothness of Crown Royal Original, with deeper bourbon notes and a rich texture to finish.
