Whether you're a seasoned home bartender or you're just getting start with mixing your own drinks, you'll find that the right tonic water will work wonders for your drinks. A quality tonic water should be not too sweet, with assertive bitterness and floral or citrus flavours to give a distinctive flavour. 6 O'Clock Tonic Water is perfect for elevating your G&Ts or vodka tonics to new levels.

For the best drink, you want your tonic water to be as fresh as possible, so that it's lively and full of gas. That's why 6 O'Clock comes in single-serving bottles so that you needn't waste a large bottle of tonic water when you're making just one or two drinks. Plus, the tonic is free from sodium benzoate and saccharin, which are common in mass produced tonic waters.

The flavours of 6 O'Clock

6 O'Clock is flavoured with lemon and lime in addition to the traditional quinine which is found in tonic waters. This gives 6 O'Clock a rich citrusy flavour which makes it a great companion to citrusy gins. In fact, 6 O'Clock make their own gin that this tonic water was designed to complement. You could also drink 6 O'Clock tonic water with lemony and peppery gins like Tanqueray, Brooklyn Gin, or Martin Miller's.

6 O'Clock Tonic can be mixed with gin, vodka, and more!

If you're wondering how to drink your 6 O'Clock, not to worry – we have plenty of ideas! Just take a collins glass (or even a regular old water glass if that's all you have – fancy glasswear is a nice thing to have but not an essential) and add a little ice. Pour in one shot of your spirit or other alcohol, and then top up with tonic water. This will create a complex, bittersweet long drink which you can sip and enjoy.

A few of our favourites other than gin and tonic are 6 O'Clock with vodka and 6 O'Clock with vermouth. These drinks are super easy to make, and will be pleasing to anyone who's only had overly sweet tonic waters in the past.

You can also get creative and experiment with creating your own drinks, using booze, juices, and botanicals that you have at home or that you order from our store. Tonic is generally drunk with clear spirits, but you could also try using it with dark rum, unusual citrus juices like grapefruit, or a liqueur like elderflower spirit St. Germain. The only limit is your imagination!

So pick up a pack of 6 O'Clock and try its balanced bitter flavour for yourself, then use it to try your hand at mixing your own drinks.
