Dan Aykroyd is probably best known to most of you as the star of blockbuster films like ?Blues Brothers? or ?Ghostbusters?. His Hollywood exploits make it even more surprising to some to see Aykroyd in another guise ? as the producer of Crystal Head Vodka, which is available to purchase in the online shop here at Urban Drinks. Aykroyd created this unique premium vodka together with the artist John Alexander, and the awards that Crystal Head has won since its inception would appear to have made it worth his trouble. Crystal Head Vodka is without equal. No home bar ought to be without one of its beautiful and unique bottles ? and empties don't count.

Crystal Head Vodka ? who wouldn't want to drink their vodka out of a crystal head?

Dan Aykroyd drew his inspiration for Crystal Head Vodka from the legendary mythology of the crystal skull. Crystal Heads ? sorry, skulls ? have been discovered in various locations all over the world and are believed by some to possess magical powers. Swear down. Crystal Head Vodka's creator would raise greater alarm talking up a storm about the mystical powers of the skulls if you didn't know he was also a professional actor. His performance as a credulous Enlightenment-dodging disciple of the skulls in various online videos was indeed convincing. Anyone remember Mark Corrigan telling Callie how you could make a Crystal Head ? sorry, skull ? yourself? ?In a factory... from glass...? Yep. Crystal Head Vodka's own masterpieces are directly traceable to the Milan-based manufacturers Bruni Glass. That's not the only way they're superior to their new-age-spirituality-fetish counterparts. Their magical powers are just as potent (i.e. not at all), and they're full of vodka. Winning.

Crystal Head Vodka, Crystal Head Vodka, Crystal Head Vodka ? thrice as nice

Crystal Head Vodka itself deserves rather more attention than the legendary skulls. Not to say that the Crystal Head Vodka bottle isn't beautiful, just to point out that... so's the vodka inside it. Aykroyd set out with Crystal Head to create a vodka that was as pure and as clean as possible. That means absolutely no artificial additives or ingredients, and intensive filtration to remove absolutely all impurities. Since 2007, he and his business partner John Alexander have been overseeing the production of Crystal Head Vodka in a distillery in the Canadian province of Newfoundland. The nonsensical sub-heading you see above is actually symbolic: after quadruple-distillation of ?Peaches and Cream? corn, Crystal Head is filtered seven times, including three times through Herkimer Diamonds. Thrice as nice thanks to this inventive and classy finishing touch to the vodka. Get your own Crystal Head Vodka from our online shop today and find out what you've been missing!
