Koval Four Grain Whiskey is made from four different types of grains. The American brand has proved that it knows how to impress its fans with beautiful whiskey creations. The Four Grain Whiskey is distilled from a blend of oat, barley malt, rye and wheat. After the distilling process, the whiskey ages in burned oak barrels from Minnesota. With pure spring water it is later blended to a drinling strength of 47% Vol.
In the nose, the Four Grain presents soft and creamy notes of bananas. On the palate the whiskey presents itself silky again and leads into a smoky and spicy finish. A specialty about this whiskey: It is produced in small batches and is a single barrel spirit that is not filtered before bottles. And to make things even better, only the „heart cut“, meaning the best of one distillate is used.
