Held Vodka, which is German for "hero vodka", is a real Berliner. Its history is reaching back to the Roaring Twenties. After the distillery-opening in Upper Silesia in 1906, the Berlin-based part of the family started producing a vodka in a backyard, as is customary for a product in Berlin. Selected customers were buying it and Held became more and more successful. World War II stopped the fun. Good news is: the vodka is back since 2005, as two young men who recently moved to the German capital randomly stumbled upon the popular vodka. They use the original recipe to serve a perfect sipping vodka, that is perfectly pure and soft thanks to the threefold distillation and filtration technique.
