VOR is Icelandic for spring. The arctic spring in Iceland inspired the creation of the aromatic VOR Icelandic Gin, while the spirit owes its lively taste to the Icelandic summer.
The makers of VOR have sought to capture the essence of Icelandic nature with the carefully selected and hand-picked botanicals that are used in the production of their premium gin. Wild Icelandic juniper and crow berries, organic rhubarb, angelica root, birch leaves, wild thyme, Icelandic moss, and kelp all do their bit to make the character of this gin entirely unique.
VOR is based on organic barley, grown on the edge of the Arctic Circle in a seriously nippy climate. These conditions lend the alcohol that is produced from the barley an exceptionally rich aroma, and make it the perfect basis for a loud and hefty gin. VOR, along with countless other exceptional premium gins today, is produced exclusively in small batches, and this accounts for its extremely clean and well-rounded aromas.
It won the gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2015.
