The Kraken Rum is named after the legendary sea monster that has allegedly been haunting seafarers for hundreds of years. The bottle labels show this monster and with it a hint to the content of the Victorian inspired rum bottles: black like the ink of kraken and as strong as the octopus that's meant to have sunk so many ships. Eleven secret spices are used in the making of The Kraken Rum which is produced in Trinidad and Tobago. The taste of the spiced rum is dominated by notes of chocolate, molasses, cinnamon and cloves. In the finish, the rum satisfies with a wonderful aroma of vanilla.
The well-balanced taste of Kraken Rum turns effervescent when mixed with the fizzy Fever Tree Ginger Beer. Contrary to its name, the brewed ginger beer is categorized a soft drink because it contains less than 0.5% vol. alcohol. For a perfectly spicy long drink fill a highball glass with ice cubes, add 5 cl Kraken Spiced Rum and pour in the Fever Tree Ginger Beer. To give it an extra kick simply add a slice of lemon.
