Ghost Papastrello Rosso del Veronese is an intense red wine made from the grape varieties Corvina and Rondinella. In the making of the wine, the grapes are naturally dried without altering the humidity or temperature during the process. After that, the wine is fermented and then macerated for almost 10 days. The specialty of this wine is what follows next: a second fermentation on Amarone grapes! Through this, the wine gets more character as well as a higher alcoholic content, more tannins and acidity. In the end, the wine is aged in oak barrels for about 12 months.
In the nose, the wine spreads notes of ripe cherries, accompanied by a slight spiciness and hints of dried flowers. In the taste, Ghost Papastrello is lively with a rich character. The finish leaves a velvety feeling on the palate.
